Airbrushing – what can it do for me?

Thursday, May 26th, 2011

With digital photos being in almost everyone’s daily spectrum, whether they are taken on an actual camera or more commonly via the camera on their phone, most people are aware that photos can be enhanced and changed from their original look to something often so fantastic, you may hardly even recognise yourself!!

Basic edits include things like colour correction, contrasting lighting issues or red eye removal, but the fun certainly doesn’t stop there.  Would you like to remove a tattoo, smooth over your spotty skin, get rid of those specs which make you look at least 10 years older?!  It’s all possible now with advanced techniques on your computer, and whether you choose to try and do it yourself, or use a professional photo editing service online, you truly can change that original snap into something David Bailey may be proud of!

More people are seeing it as standard before transferring their image onto canvas or getting a photo printed to sit in a frame in the hallway for the next decade.  It’s easy, affordable and just about everyone likes to look their best however much they may not think they are vain!

Take the plunge and try one photo out – once you see how good you can look with a little effort after the event, you may not have to spend so much time on the day worrying about what you look like as the shutter goes click!
