On any page there will be a green GET STARTED button - click on this link and enter your details to register for your FREE account and you are ready to use any of the services.
How do I submit my photos?
Firstly create an account and then you can Upload your photos from your computer. Alternatively if you already have an account, just login and then select Upload Photos.
What exactly is photo retouching?
Photo and image retouching is the enhancement of any picture using digital means to improve the colour, density and contrast. The process also allows for the removal, addition or change of any features as so desired. Therefore everything from hair and eye colour to spots, tattoos, scars, veins, moles, freckles, body piercings and more can be removed or altered to give the best finish you could hope for.

Who will own the copyright of my new image?
You will! Magic My Photos do not claim any copyright to derivative retouched/edited images submitted by customers, and you will always be the only copyright owner.
Is there any size limit on the photos i can upload?
Yes, the image size must not exceed 8 MB but this is usually more than sufficient for most images.
Is there a maximum number of photos I can upload at any one time?
In order to give everyone the best possible service, we limit the number of uploads per order to 20 photos. It is not a problem to have a larger order but we want to keep things moving for all our valued clients so we make special arrangements for larger orders to use a faster volume based FTP route to upload their images - please contact us at admin@MagicMyPhotos.com so we can help you with this if you need to upload more than 20 images at a time.
What features of my image can you retouch?
We can improve the colour, density and contrast of your image as well as smooth the skin, remove red eye, skin blemishes and other undesirable skin features. We can collage 2 or more photos together to create a completely new image and help enhance objects to show them off in their best light. Additionally we can also change the background of your photo to a colour of your choice or replace it completely with a new backdrop of your choice!
What kinds of photos do you accept?
Most kinds of digital photos are accepted with each single file size being under 8MB. In details, we accept these photos:- JPG/JPEG, GIF, PNG photos (may be called jpg in lower case - it is all the same!)- most TIFF and PSD files - as long as they are not too enormous!
How do i upload a photo?
Once you are on the Upload page, start by selecting the Currency of choice and then simply click on the Browse button and search your computer for the image you wish to upload - most often in the My Pictures Folder. When you have located the photo, click 'ok' and the file name and location will appear in the relevant box on your Upload page. You will next be taken to choose your level of service for your image so follow the instructions and click each feature you require to be retouched per image. Once you have added this photo to your shopping cart, you can repeat the process nad upload more images until you have the required number of photos in your cart. All you need to do then is check out and pay via Paypal or credit/debit card.
How do I send a photo I need restoring?
For old photos you want to have restored, we recommend scanning them in to send across. For this process, your scanner glass must be spotless and dust free to achieve the best results. To do this yourself, set the compression to low (for better quality) and the scanner resolution to 400 - 600 dpi for small images and 300 dpi for medium and large images.rnIf you or a friend cannot scan the image, there are plenty of local businesses that may be able to do this for you.
How long do I need to wait for my photos?
Our turnaround time varies between 24 to 72 hours based on the service you choose. For Photo restoration services, it may take a little longer to get the best results but if you email us, we can usually confirm expected timings for this service once we have assessed the level of work required to reach your expected standard.
What can I do if I am unhappy with your work?
Magic My Photo has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are unhappy with the new photos, please follow these steps: DO NOT ACCEPT THE IMAGE AT THE COMPLETION STAGE but instead issue further instructions to allow us to enhance the image to your satisfaction.Do this by clicking on the button stating 'Not yet approved' It may be that there was some misunderstanding of your instructions at the beginning but whatever your concern, please add additional instructions or explanations to help the designer to better understand your expectation and improve the work and we can ensure that you get exactly what you wanted. We are sure your revision image will be exactly as you wanted it second time around but if for any reason we cannot meet your full and reasonable expectations, we promise to give a FULL REFUND and credit on any image that does not meet your satisfaction as long as you advise us within 24 hours and we have been given the chance to remedy your comments. We cannot say fairer than that!
Can you change the background of my photo?
Yes, we certainly can! Any image can be superimposed onto another backdrop - if you select a level of service that allows a background change, there will be the option to upload a reference image for you to use as the alternative backdrop. The backdrop changing service is available in Gold / Platinum / Advance Product or the Collage Service.
Can you always do everything I want?
There is virtually nothing we cannot do! However very occasionally what you may need us to do within the realms of the image provided may be completely unworkable. Before we start to work on you photos, our design team will carefully look at your photos and instruction. If we do not think your instruction is possible, we will contact you about your order and provide a full refund as soon as possible.
What is a Reference Picture?
A Reference Picture can help you better describe how you want your photo to be enhanced. For example: If Sallysnose.jpg has a similar look to that which you are trying to achieve in your photo,then you can set it as Reference Picture and tell us in the instruction, e.g. 'make my nose the same as the Sally in reference picture Salysnose.jpg'. You do NOT need to pay any credit for a Reference Picture and it is possible to add this to the Gold orPlatinum service.
How do I get my completed photos?
As soon as your image is completed, an email notification will be sent to you with a special link, which will lead you to the project page. Please log into your account if required and review your completed image. If you are completely happy the enhanced image, please select 'Approve' which will enable you to download it without the watermark in place. If you would like anything amended slightly then please click on 'Not approved yet' and outline what you would like changed or edited differently.
Will my photos be kept private?
Yes, completely. Magic My Photos has a strict privacy policy with excellent software built in to keep your images protected. No third party is able to access your photos and we will never publish your photos as examples/demos or in any other way unless you specifically allow us to show them off. You can opt out when you submit your photos to prevent any sharing of images through the iGallery. If at any later time you change your mind, simply go to your Account Settings and select the box to 'opt out' of the iGallery competition.
What do I do if I have forgotten all my Login details?
If you have forgotten your Password, please enter just your email address and select 'Forgotten Password' to be sent an email link to recreate your password.If you cannot remember any of your Login details, please email admin@MagicMyPhotos.com with your name and we will reset your information for you.
What do you mean by 'Completely Risk-Free'?
This is one of our unique features to guarantee customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with our work, you can advise and submit additional instructions for revision and we will make the changes required for free, until you are satisfied according to our Terms & Conditions. We want you to know that your satisfaction matters more than anything else.
Do you accept RAW images online?
Unfortunately we are not able to support RAW images currently as they are so large and we have a limitation of 8MB per image through the website - occasionally we can sometimes arrange a special Dropbox service to upload these larger photos however there would be an increase in charges as they require much longer for uploading times etc. Please email us directly for help.
What Payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal payments as well as all major Credit cards including Visa and Mastercard.
Can I pay another way if I don't have a Paypal account or Debit/Credit Card?
If you do not have a Paypal account or any Credit Card facilities to make online payments, then we can give you account details to allow for a Wire Transfer (sometimes referred to as 'Telegraphic Transfer' or simply T/T). Please email admin@MagicMyPhotos.com for details.
Can I close my account or delete my photos?
Yes. Please email admin@MagicMyPhotos.com and we will arrange for your account to be closed and all images to be deleted from our servers.
